I'll dominate 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning huge paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
