Trevoh Chalobah playing for England

The Chelsea star followed his brother Nathaniel in representing England, emerging as the twenty-first pair of siblings to earn caps for the England side.

The Chelsea defender is set to join up with the Three Lions selection to cover for injured Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.

The 26-year-old footballer is set to join the team for England's remaining World Cup qualifying matches against Serbia and Albania, but it has still not been made public.

The national side have already secured qualification for the upcoming World Cup.

Chalobah received his initial invitation under England head coach Thomas Tuchel in May and then earned his first cap against Senegal.

In the month of September, Tuchel said Chalobah was unfortunate to be excluded from the selection for qualifying games against Serbia and Andorra, and also omitted him for the following October fixtures.

Tuchel has been an significant figure in Chalobah's development, having given him his Chelsea first-team bow in the year 2021.

Chalobah has appeared in all but four fixtures for Chelsea in the current campaign, with the team occupying third spot in the English top flight, in the EFL Cup last eight and in the group stage of the Champions League.

Guehi picked up a foot injury in Crystal Palace's Conference League success over AZ Alkmaar last week.

There are set to be additional call-ups to the squad. Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has confirmed that both attacker Anthony Gordon (hip injury) and goalkeeper Nick Pope (concussion symptoms) will be unavailable from the squad.
